Candidates for Missionary Careers should meet the following:

• A US citizen or legally eligible to work in the US
• A strong, bible-based Christian faith shown by evidence of a daily walk with God
• The love of Christ for children and people
• Working knowledge of financial and budgeting principles
• Good administrative and organizational skills
• Ability to share personal faith in Christ and the word of God with children and adults
• Ability to prepare for and host mission teams with hospitality
• Strong communication skills with the ability to fundraise and represent MOM by speaking in churches, community groups, etc.
• Stable, long-term membership in a church family with an active missions/outreach and evangelism focus and personal participation
• Prior short-term or long-term service in a culture outside of the US is a plus
• A clean criminal history demonstrated in a background check
• A life of financial stability demonstrated by a good credit score

Don’t worry- you’ll be trained! We utilize a 3-4 month Spanish language program at the Spanish Institute of Honduras in Siguatepeque, Honduras.

We can help you there too! You’ll experience 4 weeks at the Center for Intercultural Training in Union Mills, North Carolina learning how to live and serve in a culture that is not your own in a way that shows love and respect to those you are in ministry with.
